When did you make this film?
What was this for? Was it a personal project? A job?
Seizure began as a personal project but was quickly picked up by an online fashion magazine called The Contributing Editor.
Can you tell us the story behind the film?
I initially shot Seizure with the intention of pulling stills from the Red One and running the fashion story as a hybrid editorial/film. I thought it would be an interesting approach if the stills ran as the print side of the story, and the video could be a supplement for web. We shot the video vertically to maximize sensor area in order to pull the highest quality stills. I know everyone is adopting this way of shooting motion & stills now, but I'd like to think that teaming up with B2Pro NY in coming up with this workflow way back in 2011 got things moving in that direction.
What camera did you shoot with?
