Description

After over-conceptualizing a shot earlier in the day that didn't even happen, I was driving home in the evening and stopped at a turnout still shrouded in fog. Having some experience with fog, I speculated that the surface of the fog would drop below my location eventually, so I waited in my car listening to the radio for about an hour. When my guess turned out to be correct, I was able to capture this scene of the moon rising over the coastal hills. The street-light, which I usually find to be a bother, seems to me a mysterious presence floating on an ocean of fog in this scene.
