Live View Lumix
The 10.1-megapixel Lumix DMC-L10 is the latest addition to the Panasonic SLR family. The camera uses a Four-Thirds Live MOS sensor that harnesses the benefits of both a CCD and CMOS sensor to deliver images with delicate gradations, realistic textures and vivid colors. A Live View LCD, which rotates 270 degrees, allows you to frame in real time and make viewable exposure or white-balance adjustments before snapping the shutter. The Venus Engine III image processor helps reproduce images with outstanding resolution and color, while selectively reducing chromatic noise by distinguishing it from luminance noise. The DMC-L10 comes equipped with Mega O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer), a Supersonic Wave Filter system that keeps the sensor clean and a Film Mode for mimicking the effects of analog film. Additional features include six selectable autofocusing modes, adjustable color temperature, a 49-zone multi-pattern metering system and continuous shooting of up to 3 fps. Get cleaner colors, better reds and greens, and improved separation with the Heliopan Digital Filter, which blocks out ultraviolet and infrared light. Made from Schott (Zeiss) glass, each filter receives multiple dichroic coatings on both sides before being mounted in a slim brass ring that won't vignette. The ring is threaded on both sides so other filters, screw-in hoods and snap-caps can be easily attached. A real photo baryta layer gives prints greater definition and detail, extended tonal range, and the look and feel of traditional photo paper. Archival quality has been improved with silica coating, and exclusive anti-curl technology ensures that the paper lies completely flat before, during and after printing.
