Delivering enhanced pen performance and innovative ergonomics, the tablet’s Grip Pen offers 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity for greater accuracy. The pen has a pressure-sensitive eraser and two side switches that can be customized for commands such as double-click and right-click. Other workflow-oriented improvements include rear-mounted Touch Strips that are placed at your fingertips for better access while working. Medium-Telephoto Lens
If you shoot a lot of portraits, the Sigma 85mm ƒ/1.4 EX DG HSM is a solid choice. With a fast aperture, the lens also is optimal if much of your work is in low light. In 35mm format, the lens is equivalent to 127.5mm. A special-low-dispersion glass element and a glass-mold element correct for all types of aberrations, ensuring high-quality optical performance. The lens is equipped with a rear focus system that minimizes fluctuation of aberration caused by focusing. The Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces flare and ghosting. The Hyper Sonic Motor provides quiet, high-speed autofocusing, as well as full-time manual-focus capability. The 85mm features a minimum focusing distance of 33.5 inches and a maximum magnification of 1:8.6. Estimated Street Price: TBA. Contact: Sigma, (800) 896-6858, www.sigmaphoto.com.

Large-Format Printers
Make premium-quality prints using one of three new imagePROGRAF printers from Canon. The 44-inch imagePROGRAF iPF8300, 24-inch imagePROGRAF iPF6350 and 24-inch iPF6300 use advanced 12-color LUCIA EX pigment inks to deliver a 20-percent increase in color gamut over previous models. The ink produces crisp blacks and smooth gradations and replicates fine details in shadow areas using an innovative polymer structure offering greater scratch resistance and protection from color fading. For expanded options and improved proofing capabilities, the printers are bundled with Photoshop plug-ins and new media configuration tools to ease your workflow. Estimated Street Price: $5,995 (iPF8300); $3,995 (iPF6350); $3,695 (iPF6300). Contact: Canon, (800) OK-CANON, www.usa-canon.com.

Heavy-Duty Ballheads
A new lineup of semi-elliptical, heavy-duty ballheads from Vanguard automatically adjusts and increases tension to handle off-center loads with strength and stability. The ABH series offers load capacities from 44 pounds to 88 pounds, weighs between 0.8 pounds and 1.2 pounds, and features the Combination-Friction Forces Control for extreme tension and friction control using an ergonomic grooved dial located on the main adjustment knob. Both are independently adjustable, but positioned side by side on the same axis for convenient fine-tuning. The scaled base enables smooth, 360-degree panoramic movement. Estimated Street Price: $199 to $299. Contact: Vanguard, (800) 875-3322, www.vanguardworld.com.

High-Precision View Camera
The Arca-Swiss RL3d is a viewfinder camera that can shoot high-resolution film and digital images of more than 200 MB in formats up to 4x5. This is the big brother to the Rm3d, and its compact, 3.3-pound body makes it ideal for those who spend a lot of time shooting on location. You can fit the camera with a wide range of film and digital backs, and it has a tilt-shift mechanism of up to 40mm horizontally, 50mm vertically and +/- five degrees. Lenses are mounted using the Arca-Swiss R bayonet system. It has two built-in tripod mounts for regular or upside-down configuration, but also can be slid onto a monorail to attach a bellows for using longer focal lengths. Estimated Street Price: $6,490.
