Camera Armor Defender Line

New and Rugged Protection for your Digital SLR

You paid a lot of money for your SLR camera and they are built very solid, but they still don't like the bumps and bruises they get when being used. Camera Armor is a company name that really says what their products do.

At Photokina they introduced their Defender line of camera protection.

(Armor, Defender -- I sense a theme.)

This upgrade incorporates three new features:

First, it changes how the lens is protected. They have had protective tabs that extend past the end of the lens in order to provide protection at all angles. The tab system makes it easy to adjust for different lens sizes. Second, the actual skin of the product has a new coating that repels dust. And third, they have added an anti-glare coating to the shield that protects the LCD screen.

At first you might think it is a little overkill, but I found it easy to access the controls on the camera, and I since I tend to be a slightly rough on my cameras, it is good protection.
