Hands On With Sony’s RX100 V

Sony RX100 V

We’ve been working with the new Sony RX100 V for a few weeks now, and we’re impressed. Don’t let its small size deceive you—this mirrorless compact houses a lot of features in a camera that’s not much larger than a deck of playing cards—making it useful for pros who need a second camera to grab quick shots or video.

The RX100 V has pro-quality autofocus, a 20-megapixel 1-inch stacked CMOS with on-sensor AF and 315 focus points. The camera shoots 24 fps, 150 shots for 6.3 seconds in RAW and can capture 4K video, with no pixel binning. The RX100 V lists for $1,000.
