  • Description: As an artist I was drawn to this to this piece on display in the gallery window in Paris, but the photographer in me told me there was a shot here. To find the shot I passed by every day during my stay at different times of the day until I saw what I wanted to capture. The picture is as shot. This was not superimposed with software. The sun was starting to go down and you can see it reflected just over her left shoulder. Using a narrow depth of field allowed me to capture the reflections on the glass (and in her sunglasses) without capturing any of the detail within the gallery. I love the shot, it tends to give pause to those viewing it where they spend a lot of time taking it all in.
