- Description: Commonly ‘outsiders’ is the term given to bohemian people who like to share an environment committed to literary or artistic goals - and their desire to live free from conventional rules of society. It is mainly the practice of living a rootless lifestyle to rebel and challenge the norms of society. Bohemians aroused in France, in the early 19th century, when poor artists began to huddle together in the slum areas. To truly depict the bohemian of the present days, you can think of poverty stricken artists, musicians and writers who self-impose solitude and ban materialism whether for the sake of their art or simply lifestyle goals.
