- Description: We were on a guided trip from Fairbanks to this small island located at the very north of Alaska. These two cubs were with their mom and finally took a rest after playing for quite some time. This is a fascinating place. Only 250 Inuit tribe members live on this small island. We saw them bring in one of three whales they are allowed to harvest east year. Lots of polar bears and every opportunity to photograph them.
