- Description: When I was 12 years old, my parents gave me a Kodak developing kit. The fever struck and has burned brightly ever since. My corporate career was varied and interesting. Subjects included rockets, torpedoes, turbines, research balloons, hailstones, dams, tunnels, machines, more machines, pretty girls, not so pretty girls, astronauts, generals, governors and senators. But my passion lies in the things I photograph now. Mountains, trees, flowers, machines things natural and man made. Old buildings and their contents fascinate me. More often than not I shoot details rather than the whole. Attempting to capture the sometimes hidden essence of the beauty we tend to ignore in the hustle of our daily lives. Although I prefer to work in color and traditional imagery, occasionally I drift to black and white and sometimes abstract. All of my images originate digitally now. I hope I never stop learning. I have been hanging out with painters a lot lately. That has opened new avenues of ideas for me. They have brought new meaning to the words, “Vision is the art of seeing” Well I hope my art makes your journey as fun as mine has been. And, may you always walk in wonder....
