- Description: Title: "Beacon in the Anger of the Sky" Description: Corn cribs have a distinctive look: small, often placed in an isolated part of a field, capped by a small, open structure to allow air to move through the building. In this photograph taken on a stormy late afternoon, a fleeting shaft of strong sunlight broke through the clouds and on through the opening in the crib, allowing for an unusual photograph of foreboding clouds with the opening in the corn crib delivering a shaft of strong contrast.
