- Description: I immigrated to Chicago from Poland in 2001, where I was taking pictures since I was nine years old. My first camera was an old Russian style film camera, but since then I have upgraded my gear and now shoot only Canon. My cameras of choice are the Mark II and the 1DS. My early attempts at photography were centered on landscapes, nature and architecture, but for the last two years I have shot nothing but people, especially tattooed people. I would definitely consider my style to be on the darker side. In fact the darker the better. I look for models that can express themselves in a unique way and who can bring an alternative sensuality to my work. Of course they have to have tattoos! My tattoo photos were “discovered” by a board member of The Chicago Photography Center, who suggested that I help put together a show on tattoo art at the Center called I love Ink. The show as so successful that a second show has recently opened this January. In both instances my pictures were used in the advertising posters. I don’t know what the future holds for me except that I know I will continue to search out the best inked models I can find and continue to push my work to even higher levels. And now you can see my work in 2013 jan. TATTOO YOU MAGAZINE
