- Description: I went to Venice for three days with one shot in my head but weather conditions prevented that from occurring. Therefore I began roaming the streets and different times of the day looking for shots. I am disabled (right leg) which limits my mobility and as such I need to push through a lot of pain as I search for the allusive shot that allows us to say "that one is in the tin". The Italian translation is "Ghosts in the street" shot just off San Marco Square as evening fell. I used a sturdy Gitzo tripod which was needed as the place was mobbed with people bumping into me constantly as I was trying to get the shot. My other dilemma was with pedestrians stopping and posing in front of my lens but patience paid off. Capturing the rich tones of the street lights cascading on the buildings and the transparency of the people by using a long exposure.
