  • Description: Brea spends her time painting and photographing images she has captured from all around the world. Places she has been blessed to visit have been China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Israel, Korea, Viet Nam, and Colombia(South America) all Beautiful countries and order listed does not indicate preference. She uses her camera to take many pictures of still life and many images of beautiful living creatures. She pours over the images determining if she was able to capture the “One”! The many images captured are saved and some have been so moving for her that she has created oil paintings of some of these snap shots in time that will take your breathe away. Bridgette sees the world macroscopically, you can liken her perspective to that of Georgia O’keefe’s work, yet dramatically different as no 2 artists are alike. There is something so special about some of her images and you will see her interpretation of all subjects painted blown out based on her area of focus. Brea has passion for her work and her photography, they are and will always be a part of her soul. She is not shy about her love of life and capturing all the images and snap shots life has to offer, so she never leaves home without her Nikon camera! Her thirst to fill empty canvasses with the images she captures is a never ending quest. She is very fortunate, she believes, to view the world as she does, therefore she has the utmost respect for her craft and also knows that it is a blessing to behold life and all that it has to offer. Bridgette loves the work of artist, like Georgia O’keefe, an artist who created powerful works of nature, especially flowers! Her studio is in her Cabanna at home near the ocean. She wakes up to the smell of the salt water, and when the feeling hits her she scurries about on her boat to capture images of nature right in her back yard! She is surrounded by her work and her images, and has really started to tap into an ability, which for many years was like a sleeping Giant. Please be encouraged to view her work, comment on it and share with her the feelings that are stirred up inside your heart when you gaze at her works, as she looks forward to all critiques and opinions, for only in being a good listener can one continue to move through life respectfully and with open heart and mind… Brea drinks the cup of life and all that it has to offer, she is constantly on the lookout for images that stir her soul as she yearns to Paint, that is all Brea wants to do is re-create those images in Oil and pour her soul on every corner of blank Space! She has an Art Studio on Face book, called the, “Flavor of Oil”, request a friendship invite, and you can follow her every piece as she posts every creation on FB… Please enjoy….
