- Description: The nature of perception is that each of us sees the world differently and our creativity is inspired by all that we know. I have always been drawn to details. I believe they hold beauty that is easily overlooked, and that mystery and simplicity are essential elements of beauty. I prefer not to re-create what someone else has already seen, and endeavor to make photographs that are unique by capturing very small elements of the natural world. These images are abstract, intimate and meditative. They engage the photographer and the viewer in a visual journey of self-expression and interpretation, thought and reaction. To be successful, an image must be informative in some respect. The most successful images reveal something about the photographer, something about the subject and something about the viewer.
