  • Description: I have been living in the Seattle area for over 20 years now. I moved up here from the SF bay area. The Northwest is an amazing place to live if you're a photographer. Each season offers something new and fresh to photograph. I live in the wonderful city of kirkland with my wife, 3 kids, dog and a cat. I can't imagine wanting to live anywhere else in the NW. We're truly lucky to have all the cool amenities that this area offers. I have been very lucky that Media such as National Geographic Magazine, CNN, 425 magazine, Seattle magazine, Seattle weekly, Parade and others have used my photos for different stories. I most recently started working with Getty Images. I'll have an image in the upcoming National Geographic book called " Color of Life" within the next few months. I must say that one of my happiest photo moments was seeing Steve Jobs viewing one of my photos on the brand new ipad during the ipad keynote and release. Thanks for taking a look at my pictures! Rick
