Epson SureColor P7570
If you find that 13-inch or even 17-inch-wide photo prints aren’t quite large enough for you, consider the Epson SureColor P7570 ($3145), which can print photos up to 24 inches wide. The P7570 uses Epson’s UltraChrome PRO12 12-color ink set, which features one of the widest color gamuts it in its class and requires no switching of Photo Black and Matte Black inks – a timely process that can burn through ink. The P7570 has Epson’s revamped PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead that offers a maximum resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi. Over 9600 nozzles in the printhead combine with a 12-chip print array to produce eye-catching color and crisp sharpness. Plus, the Epson P7570 prints 2.4 times faster than what was capable with the previous printhead. This is all a long way around of saying the P7570 can output gorgeous large-format prints in a relatively short amount of time. There’s also roll media support for a variety of media types, including fine art paper, at up to seven inches in diameter. There’s a front feeder for poster board media of up to 1.5mm thick. All in all, this is an extremely versatile 24-inch printer that’s relatively painless to use. Like the other two Epson printers in this list, the Epson P7570 has a customizable 4.3-inch touchscreen and is compatible with most third-party RIP workflow software.
