This image was taken in July 2013, at the legendary Laguna Seca racetrack near Monterey, Calif. This would be the final MotoGP race at this venue. The image focuses on the start of the premier class. Amidst all the starting grid chaos, I noticed one rider maintaining his calm. I focused in on Stefan Bradl, which is the main rider in the photo.
What Inspires Your Photography?
My main inspiration comes from pure passion, as I really enjoy the art of photography. I always try to bring some aspect of emotion to an image. I do have immense admiration for the work Ansel Adams has produced.
How Do You Define Your Style?
Defining style is really difficult. I’ll leave that to the viewers. www.facebook.com/pages/Les-Kalman-Photography/137951329236
