Said Professor Dr. Peter Zec, founder and CEO of the Red Dot Award, “The jury awards the Red Dot: Best of the Best for outstanding design. Only design visionaries can achieve the perfect harmony between the quality of the function, seductiveness, use and responsibility. The award finds ground-breaking designs like these and makes them visible to the whole world.”
The prestigious international Red Dot is awarded yearly in three categories: Product Design, Communication Design and Design concept.

Hasselblad has introduced a line of new autofocus XCD lenses to complement the X1D—30mm, 45mm, 90mm and the just-released 120mm macro but the camera is compatible with all 12 lenses and lens accessories in the Hasselblad H system, with an adapter. Three additional focal lengths are to be introduced soon.
