The outdoor adventure company Mountainsmith is more known for their trekking bags and accessories. However, the company does make a few series of camera bags.
Their new series, T.A.N. (Tough as Nails), was created in collaboration with photographer Chris Burkard. Burkard helped designed the bags, which features five bags of varying sizes.
These bags include the Tanuck 40L backback, Tanack 10L lumbar pack, the TAN Kit Cube, which comes in small, medium and large sizes. The Tanuck and Tanack bags are more backpack style while the Cubes are more like shoulder bags.
At $230, The Tanuck is the largest and most expensive of the series. It can fit a 17-inch laptop, camera, lenses, batteries, tripod, hydration bladder and other accessories. It can also stack with the Tanack pack ($100) to offer additional space.
The TAN Kit Cube bags are designed to only carry a camera, lenses and memory cards. The Cube bags cost $50, $60 and $70.
The bags are from 610d Cordura HP fabric with 210d nylon liner and EVA high-density PE foam. All of the bags are designed to be durable and water-resistant.
