BELLEVUE, WA – October 13, 2015 – Mylio, the award-winning software that allows people to organize, edit, protect, access, and share their photos and videos across platforms, announced it is now compatible with Android devices (API 19 / KitKat or higher is required for download). Android devices are now supported in Mylio, in addition to computers (Mac or PC), iOS devices, external hard drives, and memory cards. Mylio organizes photos and videos across devices so users can enjoy access to their media library even on space-constrained devices.
Consumers can easily view a lifetime of memories by knowing exactly where every photo and video is located. They can enjoy a simplified search and editing process while viewing their media in a unique calendar view or through a slideshow. Photos of vacations, special events, family outings and anything else are now centralized in one place and automatically catalogued based on date, name, and other information associated with each photo and video, quickly and automatically. Mylio users can also customize folders and create albums based on their preferences.
“Consumers are becoming increasingly frustrated with the daunting task of finding and organizing their photos so they can quickly enjoy and share their memories using a variety of devices,” explains David Vaskevitch, CEO and founder of Mylio. “Mylio automatically organizes photos from numerous sources for fast and easy access across multiple platforms including Mac, PC, iOS, and Android. In addition, users can edit any image using any device and store a lifetime of photos on mobile devices using minimal device storage.”
Easy Syncing, Image Importing, and Editing
With Mylio installed, users can sync, share and edit photos seamlessly between any of their Apple, Android and Windows devices. Mylio defaults the photo size and resolution of a library based on available device storage, but leaves the power in the user’s hands to control sync policies for devices, folders, or even individual media.
Mylio quickly imports photos from a variety of locations, including cameras, memory cards, external hard drives, Lightroom folders, iPhoto and Aperture libraries, Facebook albums, Flickr and more. But more importantly, Mylio can import photos and videos from your iOS and Android devices so every image you take instantly becomes part of your Mylio library.
Editing photos in Mylio is also fast and easy. Whether you’re eliminating red-eye from an image on your Android device or cropping an image on your desktop, edits will be made – and synced — across all devices in Mylio.
