In response to reports of a sunspot—a black dot in the center of extremely bright objects such as the sun—on the a7S II, Sony has released a firmware update. The anomaly is seen mostly in PAL 25p but rarely in NTSC 30p or 60p. The version 1.10 update can be downloaded here.
