Up to now, though, the only way to get your hands on a Really Right Stuff tripod was to purchase it secondhand or through their website. That’s all changing with the announcement that RRS products are now available through B&H.
Their products rest on the upper end of the price bubble, but they’re quality and having more choices is never a bad thing, especially among premium support products.
That all said, RRS owner Joe Johnson Sr. stated in an email to customers that the prices would be going up starting January 1, 2017. “Effective 1 January 2017, the price of most tripods and tripod heads will increase 5-10%. This is the first price increase in over ten years on our market-leading products…This price increase allows us to continue striving for perfection in our products, innovating, and manufacturing to the highest quality in the USA. We hope the advanced notice will allow you, our highly valued customers, to better plan for your future investments.”
We know that B&H is controversial for some consumers. If you’re not comfortable shopping through them, RRS is still selling their products direct through their website.
