The XEEN by Rokinon 20mm T1.9 Professional Cine lens is the latest addition to the company’s professional video-cinema lens line. The full-frame 6K cinema lens joins the 14mm T3.1, 16mm T2.6, 24mm T1.5, 35mm T1.5, 50mm T1.5, 85mm T1.5 and 135mm T2.2, filling the gap between the 16mm T2.6 and 24mm T1.5.
Among the features of the prime wide-angle are a 114mm non-rotating front diameter for use with matte boxes, a consistent focus/aperture ring placement and a standard 0.8 cine pitch gearing for quick lens changes when using follow-focus units. Like all lenses in the XEEN Professional Cine Lens system, the 20mm T1.9 includes a 24x36mm image format coverage without vignetting, all-metal construction, an 11 blade-diaphragm for out-of-focus highlights and smooth bokeh, plus the proprietary XEEN X-Coating Technology for high-quality imaging even in low-light conditions.
The 20mm T1.9 is available in PL mount, as well as in Canon, Nikon, Sony E and MFT mounts, with removable and changeable mounts. Five different accessory mount kits are available for flexibility.
The 20mm T1.9 Professional Cine lens is scheduled to be released in March 2017, at a street price of $2,495. All XEEN lenses include a three-year limited warranty.

(New York, New York) February 6, 2017 – Elite Brands Inc. announced today the addition of its new XEEN by Rokinon 20mm T1.9 Professional Cine Lens. XEEN by Rokinon is a specialized brand of professional video-cinema lenses launched by the Rokinon division of Elite Brands Inc. in 2015.
