This took place at Wimbledon in the famous tiebreaker with my hero Björn Borg, who we named our son after. This is the epic tiebreaker that took place in the fifth set. The match wasn’t even over, and McEnroe just did this. It was just one of these five hour matches at Wimbledon and I was covering it for Sports Illustrated.

To get the film back to SI in New York I’d have to take the Concorde. I mean, it couldn’t get much better than that. So, you’d leave in the morning at 10:00 or 11:00am and you’d arrive at 9:00am in New York and someone would meet you, take the film, and they’d be gone. It’s quite a crowd on the Concorde.
